This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs use of Minotaur Sales, Minotaur ATS, and all related services provided by Minotaur.io LLC (“Minotaur”). This AUP forms part of the Master Terms of Service. Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access.
1. Lawful and Professional Use Only
The Services may be used solely for lawful, professional, and business purposes. Users must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, including data protection, anti-spam, employment, and consumer protection laws.
Users are solely responsible for compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CPRA, employment laws, and marketing regulations when conducting outreach or recruitment activities.
Minotaur does not control, review, pre-approve, or monitor user communications, outreach campaigns, recruiting activities, or downstream data usage. Users retain sole responsibility for the content, timing, legality, and recipients of all communications conducted using data accessed through the Services.
2. Prohibited Data Activities
Users may not:
(a) Scrape, crawl, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Services;
(b) Attempt to reconstruct, replicate, or mirror any portion of Minotaur’s datasets;
(c) Resell, sublicense, publish, or redistribute platform data;
(d) Use data for consumer credit scoring, background checks outside lawful recruiting workflows, surveillance, or discriminatory practices;
(e) Upload data without appropriate legal authority or lawful basis;
(f) Use automated scripts or bots outside officially supported APIs.
(g) Use platform data to train artificial intelligence models, machine learning systems, or automated profiling tools, nor use data to build competing products or benchmarking analyses.
(h) Create derivative databases, conduct systematic benchmarking, or reverse engineer platform logic.
3. Minotaur Sales Restrictions
Data accessed through Minotaur Sales may be used solely for legitimate B2B outreach. Users may not use Sales data for mass unsolicited communications in violation of anti-spam laws. Personal email addresses, where available for business use, must not be used for personal, political, or unrelated activities.
4. Minotaur ATS Restrictions
Candidate data accessed through Minotaur ATS must be used solely for recruitment and employment-related purposes. Users must provide truthful recruiting context when revealing candidate information. Resume files and candidate records may not be redistributed or used outside legitimate recruiting workflows.
5. System Integrity and Security
Users may not interfere with platform infrastructure, bypass technical controls, probe security vulnerabilities, or attempt unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or data.
6. Monitoring, Investigation, and Enforcement
Minotaur reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to monitor usage patterns, export activity, reveal events, API interactions, entitlement usage, and system logs for compliance, security, fraud detection, and enforcement purposes.
Minotaur may investigate suspected violations of this Acceptable Use Policy, the Master Terms of Service, or applicable law. Where violations are suspected or detected, Minotaur may, without prior notice and without liability:
(a) Suspend, restrict, or terminate account access;
(b) Revoke credits or entitlements;
(c) Limit or disable functionality;
(d) Remove or suppress access to specific records or datasets;
(e) Retain logs and evidence for compliance, legal, and enforcement purposes;
(f) Report unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities;
(g) Pursue civil or equitable remedies.
Enforcement actions may be taken without refund, and no compensation shall be owed for suspended, restricted, or revoked access resulting from policy violations.
Minotaur’s monitoring and enforcement rights are discretionary and do not create any obligation to monitor, detect, prevent, or remediate violations. Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of rights.
7. Reporting Violations
Suspected violations of this AUP may be reported to legal@minotaur.io.
Use of the Services constitutes agreement to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
This AUP is incorporated into and governed by the Master Terms of Service. In the event of conflict, the Master Terms control.
